We can provide valuable local knowledge to tailor your stay, whether history and culture is your passion to photography and mountain biking. We understand the importance of time out from the pressures of work and the demands of modern life.  Whether you are reacquainting to an area you visited from childhood or want to build priceless moments exploring with loved ones. We provide a setting that enables you to plan your stay. 

A balance of modern and contemporary upgrades ensures Garth’s character and history is retained. 

Garth benefits from mains gas, mains electric, mains water, WIFI, refuse collection, bedding, Linen and towels and are all  included in your booking. We provide a courtesy basket of logs and kindling as an initial start up pack, should you wish to use the Log Burner (simply let us know ahead of your arrival)

From latest smart TV and Sound bar, to refurbished kitchen (Spring of 2021)  including all latest appliances, we continually ensure that Garth has that “home from home” appeal. The décor is tasteful with examples of professional art work reflecting majestic local scenery.    

We decorate Garth through the seasons,  reaching the highpoint of Christmas with a fresh tree, real leaf garlands, champagne hamper and pine cones for the Log Burner.  

Garth gates and driveway

Parking & Access – Garth benefits from a newly constructed, generous vehicular access and parking. Laid with granite pavers, access is through 5 metre wide traditional double county driveway gates. Set back 5 metres from the road allowing easy access for vehicles and convenient private parking. The driveway gates open “inwards” with a third pedestrian gate situated for “on foot” or bicycle access. The access and parking is illuminated at night, giving an inviting and welcoming feel.

Garden and raised decked patio area – Is private, enclosed  and generous, not shared with any users.

Planters contain seasonal  impact planting throughout the year, our climbing roses add scent and romance to the backdrop of forest and woodlands. The location is a good safe distance from flowing rivers.

Set in a peaceful location, the property enables you to sit out and enjoy the early morning  birdsong to the owls and stars at night.
