Garth gates and driveway

7 night  weekly basis, where you can stay at Garth from Saturday (Arrival 5.00 pm )  to Saturday (Depart 9.00 am).

Booking with Garth ensures competitive prices, direct liaison with the Owners and provides that one on one relationship that so many Guests prefer. Most importantly booking direct also supports the local economy and tourism businesses.

Garth is centrally located within the village of Betws-Y-Coed. Our page has an interactive map showing how central and easy the cottage is to locate. The property is a traditional Victorian  Estate workers Cottage 2 bedroom, with many of the original features retained. A balance of modern contemporary upgrades ensures that we provide a touch of elegance and luxury  comprising of :-

Living Room  – ( Latest smart LCD TV,  Blu ray DVD, Sound Bar, WIFI) Original stone fireplace with a 7KW Log Burner, 2 extra Large comfy leather sofas. And a good sized coffee table, which has a selection of reading materials, maps and games. A selection of latest Blu ray films and children’s favourites.

Dinning and Kitchen area (upgraded April 2021) to include all new appliances, Rangemaster cooker,  Dishwasher, retro kitchen appliances including Fridge, Freezer, Microwave, Kettle, Iron, Coffee Machine, Table settings (breakfast set & dinner set, glassware, crockery, cooking utensils including table linen and tea towels) . The table is a generous size to accommodate 4 Guests.

We can provide an infants high chair – Available upon request.

First floor Bedroom One  – consists of Double Bed (UK 4 feet six inch), Tall wardrobe and Chest of Drawers (hair-dryer and Fan supplied) Bedding provided is hypo-allergenic. Bed linen is an exclusive quality home designer range.

First floor Bedroom two  – comprises of  two  Adult single beds (UK 3 feet ). Shortie wardrobe, doubles up as long cupboard and bedside cabinet, Fan supplied. Bedding provided is hypo-allergenic. Bed linen is exclusive quality home designer range.

We can provide a Baby Travel Cot with mattress – Available upon request.

Bathroom – bespoke marble wall and floor, low level shower, basin and WC. Towels included within the booking consist of  (per Guest) 1 x Bath Sheet, 1 x Bath Towel. Additional  Hand Towels to bathroom and kitchen are included for your stay.

Utility/Boot Room leading out to the Patio/raised decked area contains coat hanging rack, parasol, washing machine, Tumble dryer, humidifier for drying boots and coats.

Decked Patio area  – contains rattan style furniture set seating up to 4 Guests. Six steps lead down to garden area.

Garden area  – generous in proportion with trees, mixed flowers and trained climbing roses. Planters with seasonal flowers and exterior lighting at night giving a cosy and inviting mood after dark. A traditional Welsh quarry slate path leads you to the end of the garden, with a generous lawn area and picnic bench under our vintage pear tree. The entire garden area is fenced/gated off and is not shared with other users. There is a  store available for use on request for cycles.

Parking & Access – A unique feature is our newly constructed generous vehicular access and driveway. Laid in granite pavers, access is through 5 metre wide traditional country double driveway gates. Set back 5 metres from the road allowing easy access for vehicles and convenient private parking. A third pedestrian gate is situated for “on foot” or bicycle access.

The property is mains gas and electric, mains water and all utilities are included in your booking. During the Period from November to end of March there is a Winter Fuel fee of £40.00 required for 7 night stays. We provide a basket of logs and kindling as an initial start up pack, should you wish to use the Log Burner.

Garth is a self catering property, there is no laundry/cleaning service provided at this time.

Garth is a “non pet” and “no smokers” property.
